The Manhattan-Ogden Public Schools Foundation is committed to promoting, supporting, funding or assisting with funding educational program enhancements such as:
- Extensive K-12 after school clubs including reading, math, history, art, technology, woodworking, music and theater
- Summer library reading program for elementary schools
- After school and summer programs for autistic children and peer models
- Annual Early Expressions celebration of art, honoring outstanding art from elementary and secondary school students
- Over 30 postgraduate scholarships awarded for MHS seniors
- Recognition of excellence in teaching
- Special opportunities for teacher professional development
- Support for competitive student groups which qualify for ongoing competition in statewide and national finals
- Fundraising for individual schools’ needs through a discount card fundraiser (Elementary school fundraising projects)
- Fundraising assistance for special projects like Bishop Field renovations
- KONZA Prairie field trips
- “Families in Transition” program support
- Scholarships for high school students participating in honors arts/science workshops
